Station at State and 10th

When we were going through our photo files for Lawrenceville businesses, we found this photo. It was filed with the Texaco station located at State and 11th. Most people knew it as Christy’s Texaco. But the more we investigated, the more things didn’t add up. For one thing the dates didn’t work out with the Texaco history of that station. Then we found this advertisement.
Apparently by 1921, Standard Oil Company built a service station at State and 10th. According to advertisements by Standard Oil Company, their service stations were meant to beautify ugly corners. It was the aim of the company to have the stations of a pleasing style of architecture, to keep them spick and span, and to make it a pleasure to stop and fill one's tank. Their service stations were located on the main traveled highways so one could get gas conveniently. The major product sold by Standard Oil service stations was Red Crown, the high-grade gasoline.
The address is clearly State and 10th Street. Can anyone shed anylight on this station?
