For many years our school was housed in the front vault of the History Center. That had to be relocated when the doll collection moved in there. Now it is housed at the research library. Among our collection we have:

  • Yearbooks from all four high schools in the county (Yes, we have your freshman photo!)

  • Country School ledgers from the early 1900s until consolidation ( Yes, we can tell you the grades your greatpa earned!)

  • Hundreds of country school photos as well as city elementary school photos (Yes we have one of your grandma as a little girl!)

  • Binders full of reunions, prom and graduation memorabilia (Yes, we can show you what your old boyfiriend looked like 20 years after graduation.)

  • A collection of Mr Climer's music programs and photographs (Alas, we can't hear you play the clarinet!)

  • And a collection of sports artifacts some of which are on display at the History center in a permanent exhibit.

Come and See what we have. You will be surprised!

Open House at both the History Center on the Square and the Research Library 1100 Lexington Ave.

Saturday October 5 2024 10-2

Refreshments will be served.

We will also be selling yearbooks that donors have allowed us to offer for sale because we already have duplicates. These will be offered at the History Center. Books of interest to historians and genealogists will be offered for sale at the Research Library.
