Let it Snow. Let it Snow. Let it Snow.

Writer: Lawrence LoreLawrence Lore

There is something soft and tender in the fall of a single snowflake but when it comes to crawling out in the morning and shoveling away a big drift, it’s ornery, mean and disgusting. Please be careful out there.

Now would be a good time to review those New Year resolutions:

1. Join the Lawrence County Historical Society.

2. Pay your dues. If you were to send extra money as a donation to help with the elctric bill, we would appreciate it.

3. Volunteer to work at the History Center or the Research Library.

4. Check out our website regularly www.lawrencelore.org

 5. Start working on your genealogy.

6. Make copies of your family history files and photos for the Research Library Files.

7. Attend our meetings on the 4th Monday of almost every month.

8. Write an article, help research, or transcribe for the blog.

9. Buy one of our books...or better yet, buy two and give one as a gift.

10. Tell a friend to subscribe to our free blog, Lawrence Lore.
