The Historical Society has a large collection of church photos, clippings, booklets and artifacts. Feel free to browse these at the research library on Lexington or see our new church related exhibit at the History center on the square if you are interested in a particular church's history. We are aware that some of the county's churches have changed affiliations and new churches have been added, so to provide continuing history of these churches we ask that you help us update our files. One hundred years from now, people will be interested in exterior and interior photos of these buildings so photographers please send us your best shots. lawrencelore@gmail.com
